Mikao Usui, Father of Usui Reiki What is Reiki?Reiki is a practice and system of spiritual transformation discovered by Mikao Usui. Reiki, which is a Japanese term for "universal life energy", is channeled through the practitioner's hands for self-use or for application on others. Reiki can be used for creating harmony, wellness, and personal change. As a transformational energy it has been known to propel individuals further along their spiritual path, clarify understanding of life's purpose, heighten intuition, and create a more authentic relationship with the Divine Creator. What is provided in your Usui Reiki Course?This course teaches you everything you need to learn in order to be a successful Reiki Master Teacher, with the ability to teach and perform Reiki on others. Our Usui Reiki course provides a manual written by Dawn (Rothwell) Grey, Reiki Master Teacher and President of the Institute, who has performed over 4,500 Reiki attunements locally and distantly over the last nine years. This is NOT merely an attunement procedure that you are purchasing, but an in-depth accredited course complete with certification and authentic lineage. You will have unlimited lifetime access to a fully trained Reiki Master via email, telephone, and local visits if you are or plan to be in the Lawrence, KS area by special appointment. You will receive all the attunements, the symbols, and complete instruction in the fundamentals of Reiki. Students are required to perform hands on practice sessions on yourself and others and record your results. You are expected to stay in contact regularly throughout the program with your teacher, and are encouraged to continue that contact when complete. As stated above, I have personally performed well over 3,500 distance and in person attunements over the last seven years, and regardless of the method they select, all students were empowered with Reiki. How does this happen? There is a distance symbol offered to the Usui Reiki student in Level 2, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, the "Distance Reiki symbol", that empower Masters to send Reiki energy as well as attunements distantly.
